This website is operated by SALA Innovation Labs, part of the South African Legacy Association, a registered non-profit company in South Africa. By using this website you agree to these terms.

2. Using this website

You may browse, read and share this site freely. You may not:

Use it for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that damages or overloads it.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its server or its database.
Submit false information, impersonate another person, or send automated or bulk submissions through our forms.
Scrape, harvest or republish content or member information without our written permission.

3. Community membership

Membership is free and voluntary. When you register you agree to give accurate information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend or remove a membership that breaches these terms, is used abusively, or is inactive for an extended period. Where we do, we will tell you why unless there is a legal reason not to.

You may close your membership at any time by emailing us - see Contact below.

4. Enquiries and applications

Submitting an enquiry, workspace application or expression of interest does not create any contractual obligation on either side. Acceptance into any programme, workspace or venture is at the Labs’ discretion and will always be confirmed separately in writing.

5. Content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content on this site - text, images, logos, and the SALA Innovation Labs name and marks - belongs to SALA Innovation Labs or is used with permission. You may quote or link to our content with attribution. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission.

Third-party logos, including those of partner institutions, remain the property of their respective owners and appear here to indicate association or collaboration only.

6. Ventures and third parties

Ventures featured in our portfolio are separate undertakings. Information about them is provided for general interest and is not an offer, a solicitation, or investment advice. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information will always be current. We may change or remove content at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, SALA Innovation Labs is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
